Possible T-shirt Designs
Images I have recieved so far
- Could have this on the front as logo type thing (brest print), then some large image on back? Emma

- Clippy should be saying "It looks like you're rigging a rebelay!". The caver should be about to furiously smash him to bits with a bolting hammer. Duncan Collis
- Tux could halfway up a pitch, caver at the bottom yelling "sudo pitch free" (Penguins prussik notoriously slowly). Or keep the current picture and "sudo apt-get me out of here". Duncan Collis. Or "sudo apt-get install entrance" MikeTA
- The OS X guy about to get squished doesn't look sufficiently self-satisfied. Duncan Collis
- Unfortunately my drawing skills don't extend to 'self satisfied' or 'angry'. I can just about do happy or sad though :-) Edvin
Other ideas
These are a few other ideas that people have emailed to me, they are not as drawings, but if you like the idea feel free to draw it and send it to me.
1) London Underground style map - Cambridge Underground, made up of major caves, connections and entrances in our area of Austria
- Something similar was done in 1997 Duncan Collis

2) Map, including real caving surveys from Austria, leading to above-ground cartoon sketch of top and base-camp, people drinking beer at base camp, far in the distance landmarks such as the Cambridge pub, and the road with a random vehicle packed like a tower or a historic car-crash on the way to expo. all annotated.
2) The cycle of evolution from monkeys on branches through cavemen to cavers with anything in between - different kind of hominins slowly getting off the branches, standing up, then crouching to get themselves dangling on ropes.

- This has been done to death by lots of different groups. I don't know why it suddenly (recently) became popular; it's a very old idea.
3) Timeline of inventions: fire, stone tools, cave art, pottery, metalworking, writing, gunpowder, tea, linux, ponys, SRT kits.
- Or major discoveries made by CUCC in the area. MCG did this for the back of a T-shirt, rock-band-tour style. --MikeTA 16:59, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
4) Seeing as a major theme of this years Expo is a return to KH, how about something along these lines? (Back down the rabbit hole)
Final design
We are going to go with the nerdy design (windows, linux n mac expo) in large on the back, and the CUCC in mailons as a front logo, brest print.
