From Cambridge University Caving Club - CUCC wiki
- new stretcher which can be left in Traungold (old stretcher can stay in Cambridge for rescue practise)
- Expo computer that runs windows
- redo first aid kits from scratch - yellow one got very wet and no list of contents and no guidance for use plus lots missing
- reduce numbers of first aid kits and keep them all together - there were at least 5 at base camp! - why do we need more that one there?
- put karrimat at bottom of Tunnocks entrance to sit on whilst waiting
- Peli cases for ponys so button doesn't get pressed accidentally so battery flattens and to protect them - mine (Becka's) fits snugly into a Peli 1030 case but CUCC ponys have side buttons so might need a larger case
- don't put food that spills (flapjack, powders) into the big food trunks as the crumbs make a mess and they are hard to clean
- 1m high Daren drum and one blue barrel at base to go up to top camp for food storage
- Makita drills need to be fully charged as near as possible to time when used
- take fewer hangers underground and reuse used ones esp if going somewhere muddy
- make laminated notice to go onto box of washing powder explaining laundry washing is pay-as-you-go, give 2 euro (check price for 2009) for one wash to be paid directly to Hilde or Karin and key to be returned directly to them. Washing powder to come straight back to Tatie hut otherwise all the rest of the campsite uses it.
- before Expo get a list of everybody's mobile numbers and the top camp and base camp numbers and circulate it plus print it out and laminate it twice for top camp and base camp. One expo phone is 0043-66458-45797 I believe
- laminated cribsheet with standard set of survey symbols to be glued to front of survey notebooks
