From Cambridge University Caving Club - CUCC wiki
Here is an estimate of the food to be bought for Expo 2013. This takes into account:
- food left in Austria after Expo 2012
- 420 people days on Expo 2013
- average food consumption on expo
- having ~1 week of food left at the end to (a)allow for any errors in the calculations (b)allow for food left behind last year to have been spoilt (c)have enough to start off expo 2014 if there isn't much car space for week 1
There is more info on http://www.srcf.ucam.org/caving/wiki/Expo_2008/Food, and probably other places too.
